Tuesday in the Octave of Pentecost: “He who enters not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up another way, is a thief and a robber….”

What EVER could THAT possibly mean?

“The thief comes only to steal, and slay, and destroy…”

Apostate sodomite filth, Antipope, and probable False Prophet Forerunner of the Antichrist

John 10:1-10.

At that time, Jesus said to the Pharisees, Amen, amen, I say to you, he who enters not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up another way, is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is shepherd of the sheep. To this man the gatekeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them forth. And when he has let out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. But a stranger they will not follow, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers. This parable Jesus spoke to them, but they did not understand what He was saying to them. Again, therefore, Jesus said to them, Amen, amen, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All whoever have come are thieves and robbers; but the sheep have not heard them. I am the door. If anyone enter by Me he shall be safe, and shall go in and out, and shall find pastures. The thief comes only to steal, and slay, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it more abundantly.

Mailbag: Titanic and Pentecost – Be in the Ismay Camp

Ave Maria!

Dear Ann,

For some reason, probably Providence, the Titanic has been on my mind all week leading up to Pentecost. I went back and found your post on the comparison of the barque of Peter and the Titanic and the smearing of Bruce Ismay. Something was really haunting me after the tons of research I have been doing this week on the vessel and it’s this:

With 2,000+ people on board, and roughly only 700 people survived and as you mentioned the life boats (even though there should have been more, of course) were NOT filled to capacity. I watched a recent video where the speaker came to the defense of Ismay, because he said some passengers didn’t board the boats for two reasons:

1.) They really didn’t believe the Titanic would sink because “it’s impossible, she’s unsinkable” (bla bla 🙄).

2.) Several passengers below deck were waiting in their cabins for instructions… and they never came. The crew simply was not prepared for a disaster like this. The organization wasn’t there.

Sound familiar? Two things hit me here, which of course reminded me of the Titanic symbolizing Holy Mother Church. The attitude of “she’s unsinkable” is equivalent to “Bergoglio is Pope, Bergoglio is Pope, shut up!” And so half of the Church’s members (like Titanic passengers) stay on board under that good old “diabolical disorientation” that Our Lady warned us about. The other half? Like #2, they are just waiting to be to told what to do, to be led! But those in charge (cardinals and bishops, and of course right now… no Pope), ARE DOING NOTHING.

Then there is the Ismay camp. Those of us who have tried for dear life to get people onto lifeboats, but to the #1 group I spoke of, we only get “shut up, stupid, Bergoglio’s the Pope, and what are you? You’re just a passenger with no safety training” (cough cough, degrees or Canon Lawers 🥴). We are the “schismatics” or “sedevacantists”. BUT, are they forgetting the words of Our Lord?

“Then Jesus said to them: All you shall be scandalized in Me this night. For it is written: I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be dispersed.Matthew 26:31.

To me it’s so obvious we are being dispersed in little lifeboats representing the Barque of Peter. So today I KNEW it was Providence because after watching the 1958 Film of the Titanic last night called “A Night to Remember” (of course Ismay is portrayed like a coward in the movie, but that’s expected, right?), it shouldn’t have surprised me when on the Feast of Pentecost the homily today was about Saint John Bosco’s vision of the boat representing Holy Mother Church. On board? The Pope and Cardinals. With two pillars: Our Lady and the Lamb of God. We must climb aboard the life boats of tradition. We cling to Mary and we cling to the Latin Mass. You’re so right. And lastly, to bring this lengthy Titanic Novel home, in the Saint Andrew’s Missal, there are lovely definitions of the Gifts of the Holy Ghost, and would you just get a load of the Gift of Fortitude:

“A permanent POWER which the Holy Ghost communicates to our WILL to ASSIST us in overcoming the difficulties which might deter us in the practice of what is right.”

I’m not saying getting into a life boat isn’t hard, and most of the time it’s easy to get gaslit by the “higher ups” who tell us we are being “disobedient”, because we are the Ismays of the Church. But how good is the Paraclete? He gives us “permanent power” to “overcome difficulties” and “do what’s right”.

🕊️ HAPPY PENTECOST 🕊️ ,

Mailbag: Armed Guardians Sodality

Hello Ann,

Hope this finds you well.

In light of the recent events and your wonderful piece on running TOWARDS the gunfire (Hard Truths About Civilian Combat Tactics) I thought you would appreciate something we got started in our small, rural parish. Myself and a few other men serve our parish as Armed Guardians. Each Guardian carries a 9mm and a spare mag properly concealed so we blend in perfectly. Before Holy Mass (and other parish events) we arrive early to “sweep” the church, parish hall and property. We then stand vigilant, yet welcoming, at the front steps of our church as folks arrive. Once Holy Mass starts, we take our seats with our families but locate ourselves in deliberate pews so as to remain most effective should something happen. We also take turns as to which one remains at the back of the church by the LOCKED door. When Holy Mass is over, the Guardian posted in the back is first to unlock the door and step outside to continue monitoring the area. All of this is done very discretely so nothing we do creates a distraction. It really is a wonderful ministry that each of us considers an honor to serve even though most of the parishioners have no idea what is actually taking place.

This security endeavor is spreading across the entire diocese and each Armed Guardian is commissioned by our bishop to serve in this role. We receive advance tactical training each year and must continually pass weapon proficiency tests. We have photo ID credentials that state we have authority to carry a firearm in every one of the churches and schools in the entire diocese. Specifically, our parish priest and deacon even make sure we have an ample supply of training ammo to stay sharp. Since I ranch for a living, I open carry every day. And with the number of varmints, wild hogs and coyotes I encounter, I have become even more confident of my accuracy and speed. Consequently, this ministry is such a natural fit.

Very possibly, the Armed Guardian Ministry in our Diocese is kept confidential, so I won’t mention which one it is. But our Bishop has told me personally he’s 100% behind it.

As always, Ann, thanks so much for what you do for all of us.

The Vigil of Pentecost: Got Zeal?

The Third Glorious Mystery of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Co-Redemptrix, is the descent of the Holy Ghost at Pentecost. The fruit of this mystery is ZEAL – LOVE OF GOD. 🔥

An excellent collection of quotes on the utter necessity of zeal for the salvation of souls.  Remember these quotes when you hear anyone say that proselytism is “solemn nonsense”, or that they have no desire to convert a person or persons to the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, outside of which there is no salvation.

St. James the Apostle: “He must know that he who causeth a sinner to be converted from the error of his way will save his own soul from death and shall cover a multitude of sins” (St. James 5, 19-20).

St. John Chrysostom, (ARSH 347-407), the illustrious Bishop of Constantinople, and Doctor of the Church, tells us: “Zeal for the salvation of souls is of so great a merit before God, that to give up all our goods to the poor, or to spend our whole life in the exercises of all sorts of austerities cannot equal the merit of it. There is no service more agreeable to God than this one. To employ one’s life in this blessed labor is more pleasing to the Divine Majesty than to suffer martyrdom. Would you not feel happy if you could spend large sums of money in corporal works of mercy? But know that he who labors for the salvation of souls does far more; nay, the zeal of souls is of far greater merit before God . . . than the working of miracles.”

Pope St. Gregory the Great (ARSH 590-604): “No sacrifice is more acceptable to God than zeal for souls.”

St. Vincent de Paul (ARSH 1576-1660): That St. Vincent was devoured by zeal for the house of God, his entire life testifies, because that life was employed in combating evil and extending the reign of good; and in this consists true zeal. Listen to some of his instructions to his community: “Let us give ourselves to God, gentlemen, to go to carry His holy Gospel over the entire earth and into whatever part He may lead us; there, let us maintain our part, and continue our duties until such time as His good pleasure will withdraw us. Let no difficulties move us, the glory of the eternal Father and the efficacy of the Word and of the passion of His Son are at stake. The salvation of men and our own are so great that they merit to be obtained at any price.”

St. Rose of Lima, (ARSH 1586-1617). We read that her confessor offered himself to go to the missions, but he feared because of the dangers it would entail. After consulting the saint, he heard these words: “Go Father, and do not fear. Leave all to labor for the conversion of the infidel, and know that the greatest service that man can offer to God is to convert souls, for this is a work proper of the Apostolate. What greater happiness could there be than to baptize, be it only a little Indian child who would enter Heaven through the gates of Baptism?”

St. John de Brebeuf (ARSH 1593-1649), one of the eight North American Martyrs, was heard to say, after pouring the saving waters of Baptism on a dying Indian child, “For this one single occasion I would travel all the way from France; I would cross the great ocean to win one little soul for Our Lord!”

St. Margaret Mary (ARSH 1647-1690): “My divine Savior has given to understand that those who work for the salvation of souls will have a gift of touching the most hardened hearts, and will labor with marvelous success, if they themselves are penetrated with a tender devotion to His Divine Heart.”

St. Anthony Mary Claret (ARSH 1808-1870): “Another thing that spurs me on to preach ceaselessly is the thought of the multitude of souls which fall into the depths of hell, who die in mortal sin, condemned forever and ever… if you were to see a blind man about to fall into a pit or over a precipice, would you not warn him? Behold, I do the same…” “How often I pray with St. Catherine of Siena: O my God, grant me a place by the gates of Hell, that I may stop those who enter there, saying: “Where are you going, unhappy one? Back, go back! Make a good confession. Save your soul. Don’t come here to be lost for all eternity!” St. Anthony resolved never to waste a moment of time, and during his 35 years as a priest, he wrote 144 books and preached some 25,000 sermons. On one trip, besides traveling, he preached 205 sermons in 48 days and 12 in one day.

The motivating force that dominated St. John Bosco’s (ARSH 1815-1888) life is found in a phrase that is typically his: “Give me souls, you take the rest.” “There is nothing more holy in this world than to work for the good of souls, for whose salvation Jesus Christ poured out the last drops of His Blood.” In his writings and conferences, he consistently pointed out that: “Man is successful in this world if he saves his soul and is very knowledgeable if he knows the science of salvation; but he is a total failure if he loses his soul and knows nothing if he is ignorant of those things that can assure him of eternal salvation.” From his book The Life of St. Dominic Savio, St. John Bosco had this to say of St. Dominic Savio (the teenage saint who died in his 15th year): “The thought of saving souls for God was never out of his mind.” St. Dominic Savio, (1842-1856), in a serious conversation with one of his companions, gave several reasons for his apostolic zeal in “saving souls”: 1. My companion’s soul has been redeemed by Jesus Christ. 2. We are all brothers and so we must love each other’s souls. 3. God urges us to help each other. 4. If I manage to save one soul, I also ensure the salvation of my own.

St. Thérèse of Lisieux (ARSH 1873-1897): “We have only short moments of this life to work for God’s glory. The devil knows this and that is why he tries to make us waste time in useless things. O, let us not waste our time! Let us save souls! Souls are falling into hell innumerable as the flakes of snow on a winter day. Jesus weeps! Instead of consoling Him we are brooding over our own sorrows . . . There is only one thing to do during the brief day, or rather, night of this life: Love Jesus with all the strength of your heart and save souls for Him, so that He may be loved!”

St. Padre Pio (ARSH 1887-1968): “Time spent in honor of God and for the salvation of souls is never badly spent.

St. Maximilian Kolbe (ARSH 1894-1941): “We have no right to rest as long as a single soul is Satan’s slave.”

Pope Pius XII (ARSH 1939-1958): “No one is permitted to be idle and lazy while so many evils and dangers impend, and while those who are on the other side are working so hard to destroy the very basis of Catholic religion.

Terrifying Novus Ordo nuns in Atchison, Kansas, completely unapologetic in THEIR masculinity, denounce Butker.

A picture is worth a thousand words, indeed.

If you’d like to read my EXTREMELY blunt thoughts on these … “women”, here’s a reprint. Note that the BEST Benedictine convent is literally just across the Missouri River from Atchison, Kansas. The Traditional Benedictine Abbey in Gower, Missouri is bursting at the seams, while the Mount St. Scolastica community (coven?) will be naturally extinct in 20 years. Gotta love “the biological solution”.

Butker’s speech now has over a million views. Full Streisand Effect in play!

I wonder how long it will take a sodomite group, or some drooling Swifties to vandalize or attack one of the several Latin Mass parishes in Kansas City? Security needs to be tightened immediately.

And all that will live godly in Christ Jesus, shall suffer persecution.
Et omnes, qui pie volunt vivere in Christo Jesu, persecutionem patientur.

Cut the Crap: Novus Ordo Nuns are Going Extinct Because Most of Them Are Revolting, Hideous Dykes

October 24, ARSH 2018

Look at these women.

LOOK. AT. THEM.

They’re all a bunch of dykes.  Who in their right mind, or even NOT in their right mind, would want to join up with a bunch of miserable old female Diabolical Narcissist sex perverts?  The one on the far right I would argue is flirting with transvestitism.  As in trying to be a “drag king”.

I think there has been an unspoken prohibition against speaking about this, because these “nuns” and “sisters” are still, to this day, riding the coattails of nuns and sisters from before the Asteroid, enjoying the deference rightly given to women who chose to be espoused to Christ, and lived lives of prayer and service.

That is not what these dyke witches are.  These are arch-heretics and many of them are full-blown apostates, so mired in their sexual perversion that they hate Our Lord because He incarnated as a man.  These hideous, repellant train wrecks tout the need to “move BEYOND Jesus” into their neo-pagan religion, which has nothing – NOTHING – to do with Catholicism.  Just read this piece, the introduction to which I will blockquote:

It may take time, but it’s hard for a Catholic educator to publicly praise the work of nuns who have bravely leapt “beyond Jesus” without drawing some flack – especially in the Internet age. During this era of crisis and decline, some Catholic religious orders have chosen to enter a time of “sojourning” that involves “moving beyond the church, even beyond Jesus,” Sinsinawa Dominican Sister Laurie Brink told a 2007 national gathering of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious.

“Religious titles, institutional limitations, ecclesiastical authorities no longer fit this congregation, which in most respects is Post-Christian,” added Brink, a former journalist who is a biblical studies professor at Chicago’s Catholic Theological Union. For these women, the “Jesus narrative is not the only or the most important narrative. … They still hold up and reverence the values of the Gospel, but they also recognize that these same values are not solely the property of Christianity. Buddhism, Native American spirituality, Judaism, Islam and others hold similar tenets for right behavior within the community, right relationship with the earth and right relationship with the Divine.”

They cut their hair like men, wear clothes like men, comport and carry themselves like men, all the while condemning the very masculinity that they so pathetically ape.  It is a species of self-mutilation, certainly more subtle than what we are seeing today in terms of people literally cutting themselves to shreds in order to masquerade as the opposite sex, but rest assured that these psychos would have gone full “trans” had the technology and culture permitted for it forty years ago.  Because they are insane. Morally, spiritually, psycho-sexually insane.

They want to be a new “elite third gender” which dominates and is universally acknowledged as superior to the other two, definied by its hatred for both authentic masculinity and authentic femininity.  Just as male sodomites believe themselves to be an elite caste, so too do female sodomites.

Stop dancing around the obvious truth.  These witch nuns are dying out because they are a bunch of revolting dykes, and no one wants anything to do with them.  This ain’t rocket surgery, folks.  Just say it.  To their ugly faces.  Sex perverts are by definition “barren” and thus have to resort to vampirism to perpetuate themselves.  In the case of the dyke nuns, they are so revolting that there is nothing they can do to entice even the most perverted and diabolically narcissistic young women.  The Novus Ordo priesthood is dying the same death, but at a slower rate because male sodomites can be enticed to join up by the promise of available sodomy partners and access to young men and lads to prey upon.  Old dykes aren’t nearly as interested in genital acts as the faggots are, hence the filthy witches really have nothing – NOTHING – to offer other than the total desolation of narcissism, self-loathing, and hatred of God.

I’d like to end on a positive note.  The average age of Novus Ordo nuns in the U.S. is now in the LATE SEVENTIES.  Thanks be to God, less than twenty years to go.  Then, all that will be left will be rapidly growing convents, monasteries and abbeys like this:

Mailbag: Harrison Butker & being “out of one’s lane”.

Dear Miss Barnhardt,

The article about Mr. Butker was excellent, as usual, and I thank you for it. Just one tiny point with which I would disagree. With all due respect to St. Catherine of Siena’s remarkable example of “going out of lane”, I would offer St. Joan as an even better example. A small, illiterate, untrained teenage virgin girl given full command of a nation’s army? It doesn’t get more “out of the lane” than that.

May God keep you in His grace,

Mr. T

Far rather would I sit and sew beside my poor mother, for this thing is not of my condition. But I must go, and I must do this thing, because my Lord will have it so. Rather now than tomorrow, and tomorrow than the day after! —-St. Joan of Arc

Harrison Butker steps to the front – whether he realizes it or not. Butker is now a key leader of the Catholic Remnant.

If you haven’t watched KC Chiefs placekicker Harrison Butker’s commencement speech delivered at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas yet, you should. It’s an absolute tour de force. Butker fears NO ONE, and I say that not because he went after the cult of sodomy, or the recent so-called Antisemitism laws. I say that because he went after something that is controversial even within the Trad Catholic Community: “Natural” family planning, aka “Catholic Birth Control.” Like I said, the guy is an absolute unit.

A key theme is Butker’s speech is “staying in one’s lane” in the sense of living out one’s vocation or station in life, fulfilling one’s own responsibilities, and not incurring into “lanes” that aren’t yours.

I hear this, and broadly agree. HOWEVER, I would hope that Mr. Butker also consider that Our Lord does sometimes call people “out of their lane”, and asks them to do unexpected and occasionally even great things. If St. Peter and St. Andrew had “stayed in their lane” as fishermen, and likewise with the other Apostles, and they humbly declined to go conquer Rome and spread the Gospel to the corners of the earth because such an undertaking was “out of their lane”… well. I don’t need to say how catastrophic that would have been.

The same goes for such giants as St. Catherine of Siena, perhaps the best example of a person “not staying in her lane” – to put it mildly.

God works in mysterious ways. He does WHAT He wants, WHEN He wants, WHERE He wants, HOW He wants, WITH WHOM He wants. He pulls people out of their lanes quite a bit, and uses the seemingly “unqualified”, and CERTAINLY “uncredentialed” precisely in order to prove a point and manifest His omnipotence and goodness. And so, here we sit today in May of ARSH 2024, and the placekicker of the KC Chiefs is THE current voice and de facto leader of the Remnant Church Militant.

We are in a war, and all of the Flag Officers are either: Dead, Traitors, Cowards, AWOL, injured or imprisoned. So what happens? You just keep working down the chain of command. If the General is out, then it falls to a Colonel. If there’s no Colonel, then to a Major. If no Major, then to a Captain. If there be no Captains, then to a Lieutenant. If there are no Lieutenants, then to a Sergeant Major. If no Sergeant Major, then to a Sergeant. If no Sergeants, then to a Corporal. If no Corporals, then to a Private. When a situation is so dire that you get down to the level of a Private having to step into a leadership position, natural leaders within a squad EMERGE. Or, it could be said that God “raises men up.”

Mr. Butker is wealthy from his lastest 5 year, eight-figure compensation package with the Chiefs, AND he is already a diversified entrepreneur. If the NFL cuts him tomorrow, which is possible given the media uproar, and the frothing, spittle-flicked nutty that the Uber-promiscuous autotuned pop tart cult leader, Taylor Swift’s minions are throwing, Mr. Butker will probably chuckle and shake the dust from his sandals. All the more reason for him to consider the very clear fact that he is now, already very much one of, if not THE most forward leader of the resistance to Clown World, aka the cult of Antichrist.

Sometimes, some people are called by God out of their lane. Heck, some people are called to drive on the shoulder. A few people are called to leave the road entirely and drive cross-country.

The answer lies in the words of Our Lady at the wedding of Cana: DO WHATEVER HE TELLS YOU.

Repost: Hard Truths About Civilian Combat Tactics When There Is An Active Shooter

(Repost by request in light of the attempted massacre at a Mass in Louisiana on Saturday. It sounds like the parishioners, including women with young children, stepped up and physically thwarted the young demoniac. No casualties reported. -AB ’24)

“Hard Truths About Combat Tactics”
originally penned and posted in September, ARSH 2011

I have received emails from very well-meaning guys and had conversations with various law enforcement and military fellows about civilian combat tactics, both in a general context AND as they apply to me directly given my situation. While I always appreciate expert advice and soak it up as much as I can, I have been struck by one commonality that I have heard and vigorously disagree with. I have been told over and over again that the first thing one must do when a close-quarter combat theater unfolds is to seek cover.

I’m sorry, but that is wrong. And yes, I realize that I am directly contradicting the near-unanimous advice of men who have training and experience that I lack. I realize that, but I still must disagree. If I EVER encounter a gunman or gunmen situation as we saw yesterday* in Norway, or as in the Giffords shooter in Arizona, or as in musloid Mumbai-syle attacks I will NOT seek cover. The “seek cover” tactic completely hems YOU in and basically demands that the gunman move into a position such that YOU have a shot on him, but he doesn’t have a shot on you. Guys, that’s never going to happen.  And it is completely chickens***.

Any adult, male or female, with any degree of physical capability, regardless of armament, upon seeing a shooter should immediately RUN AT THE S.O.B. as hard and as fast as possible. If you have a gun, you draw it and start shooting as soon as you can. If you have a knife, draw it and brandish it and then go for the face and neck as soon as you are in range. If you are unarmed you can still tackle him and beat him into submission or death, if necessary, or gouge his eyes out (ladies).

At this point, most everyone in this culture would say, “That’s crazy! I’m not doing that! I’d just get shot!”

Um, yeah. I know.

When crazed gunmen start shooting in public places, people tend to get killed. But there are two variables that can be modified: WHO gets killed and HOW MANY people get killed. I remember hearing Dennis Miller speak very poignantly about the Virginia Tech massacre shortly after it happened in 2007. One of the dead was an elderly professor, Dr. Liviu Librescu, who was a Holocaust survivor. When the gunman appeared at his classroom door, Dr. Librescu ran straight toward him and forced the classroom door shut and held it shut while the shooter tried to force entrance. This bought time for the students to escape through the window. The gunman eventually killed Dr. Librescu by shooting him through the door. All but one of Dr. Librescu’s students escaped. The point Dennis Miller made was that Dr. Librescu, when he saw the evil standing in the door – which he had seen before six decades earlier and thus recognized – didn’t run AWAY from the evil, he ran STRAIGHT AT IT.

Our culture with its new god of “self esteem” has destroyed the average person’s sense of courage and self-sacrifice. There is no virility, and certainly no potency.  While our fighting men in the military still have plenty of bravery, their pants-pissing, self-esteem candy@$$ generals refuse to let anyone fight because “someone might get hurt”. And so, our soldiers have to sit and watch as the enemy moves free and uncontested, and then our boys get killed as a result of that enemy freedom of movement. We should be bumrushing the S.O.B.’s with everything we have, from nukes to bayonets, if needed. Speaking of bayonets, did you know that the U.S. military has removed bayonet training from basic training? Apparently it was too aggressive, or some bee-ess like that. Nevermind that a bayonet charge is still an incredibly effective tactic which was last used by a squad of Brits in Iraq who were ambushed, pinned down and outnumbered 5:1. They fixed bayonets, charged, killed 35 of the 100 Iraqi rebels, and sent the remainder running with the contents of their bowels evacuated. The Brits suffered three very minor wounds. If they had used contemporary Western sissy self-esteem “I might get hurt” combat tactics, they would have been shot dead to the last man.

This is also what happened at Columbine High School. The SWAT Team sat outside the school while the killers roamed free because the SWAT Team was trained to not engage if they could potentially get killed. So, they sat and waited for Harris or Klebold to step in front of a window and give them a clean, “safe” shot or some such. The only reason Columbine ended was because the two shooters shot themselves. They were granted 100% situational control to the very end by the SWAT Team.

In Norway*, even if there were two gunmen (they’re still not sure), the gunmen were outnumbered something like 200:1. The adults and older boys (I think it was a group of teenagers) could have rushed the gunmen. Would people have been killed? Absolutely – but not the 85 that were killed. A gunman can’t kill everyone if being rushed by dozens of people. Numbers WILL break through.

And here’s the tough part for most people. Let’s say that I rush a gunman. In the time it takes the gunman to see me rushing him, aim, fire and drop me, other people have advanced four or five steps closer to him. Each person he has to kill buys the other people four or five steps. This is war, writ small. What do you think D-Day was? Eisenhower knew that the Nazi machine gunners would mow down thousands of troops – but both Eisenhower and the soldiers themselves knew that the Nazis couldn’t kill all of them. Zero casualties was never the objective. The objective was victory, and those two things are NOT the same, and sometimes they are exact opposites. If you want zero casualties, surrender.

In our culture, not only has the notion of self-sacrifice unto death been completely lost, but people have been taught that they are personally “God’s gift to the world” and that their life is the single most important thing that there is, ever has been and ever will be. People have such an inflated sense of their own importance that they simply cannot fathom that perhaps their ultimate “purpose” on this earth might be to buy 2.3 seconds of time so that someone else can advance on a gunman, ultimately saving numerous lives. This ties directly to the fact that pretty much no one believes in the first paragraph of the Catechism: Q: Why do I exist? A: I exist to know, love and serve God in this world, and BE HAPPY WITH HIM FOREVER IN THE NEXT.

What people fail to understand is that the life of freedom and decadent prosperity that they now enjoy was bought and paid for by millions of men who ran into gunfire, bayonets, canon fire and swords over the centuries so that the cause of righteousness could advance. Do you like being a free person who can sit and read whatever you want on this thing called the internet? (For now…) Are you glad that you are Christian and not musloid? Thank the long dead and individually forgotten men who fought at Vienna, Lepanto and Tours. If it weren’t for them, you either wouldn’t exist, or you would exist and be a musloid. They died not just for their immediate families, but also for YOU. I’m sure many an evening campfire throughout the centuries heard soldiers ask the question, “I wonder what the world will be like in the year 2000?” Our lives are the answer to their question, and sadly we have almost completely pissed all of it away.

The problem today is that people are so monstrously narcissistic that they are incapable of viewing themselves as anything other than the sole beneficiary and culmination of history, when in fact we are all just bricks in the road of time that stretches on in front of us. Everyone has been taught that every single person is born for earthly glory, fame and riches, and anything that falls short of that just CAN’T be right and certainly can’t be God’s will. I have had, on more than one occasion, Christian people say to me with a completely straight face, “What purpose can a person serve and what good can they do if they’re dead?”

Oh, none. There is no example of death serving a greater purpose. Especially in Christianity.  Not-a-one.  Sigh.

Peter Paul Reubens, The Crucified Christ, ARSH 1613

Peter Paul Reubens, The Crucified Christ, ARSH 1613

The amount of damage that the infiltration of the Church and the resulting Novus Ordo effiminized “church of nice” paradigm, and Super-fun Rockband entertainme-church (™) has done to this culture can not be overstated. And you wonder why I rail about these things like I do.

When the devil shows up on your doorstep, you fix and raise your bayonet and run at him as hard as you can, precisely for the love of God and for the love of your fellow men, and leave the rest to God.
