One of my favorite aspects of this blog is being able to post great music that I love. It is always a treat to hear from folks saying things like, “I haven’t heard that song in years!” or, “I loved that song back in the day, too!” I always thought that I would have made an excellent DJ for parties and weddings (for cool people, of course). I would always marvel at wedding receptions that I would attend that the DJ, playing stupid music, would never figure out that the reason no one was dancing was because the music he was playing was awful. Man, I could have had everyone from age 90 to age nine months on the dance floor all night long, and then could have put everyone peacefully to sleep with a nocturne. Oh well. I guess I’ll just build a little catalog here and live out my DJ aspiration vicariously through you. This will be a work in progress and will continue to grow steadily. Everything links to a YouTube vid of the listed song. Enjoy!
