Another lesson about the Communion of Saints. We have to step up for each other. This photo over the transom from the American Southwest.
I have no clue who the Señores Olmos were, but being Latinos in the Southwest I think we can safely assume these men were baptized Catholics. We can also deduce that the glorious New Pentecost of Vatican II didn’t quite make it to their neighborhood, completely inexplicably, as their descendants are clearly pagans.
So, we all shall step up. Might I enjoin one and all to pause and offer an Ave for Mr. Olmos, Sr., and for Mr. Olmos, Jr., remembering that the Blessed Virgin Mary is the Mediatrix of All Graces, and that if one or both didn’t make it through their Particular Judgements, OR are already in the Beatific Vision, that the Blessed Mother will reallocate your prayers to… let’s say… the most forgotten two souls in Purgatory.
When I saw this, I just felt so awful for these men that I had to get you good folks on the case. We should also pray for the living Olmos Family Members who presumably did this, that they may yet learn their faith and die in a State of Grace.
Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us.
