Dear Ann,
I’m a nurse in an operating room, and one of the guys I work with informed me that there was an organ donor today (it’s my day off) who was positive for COVID but still permitted to donate.
This is interesting since some of the medical contraindications to organ donation include HIV (and being a homosexual), viral hepatitis (including a recent tattoo), and cancer of any kind.
I thought the highly-transmissible COVID was a contraindication to everything, including venturing outside of one’s own home?? I guess I was wrong.
God bless,
E
